APC Leaders, Aspirants in Kwara Stage Unity Rally for Tinubu and AbdulRazaq

Date: 2026-04-28

Leaders, aspirants, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State staged a unity rally over the weekend in Ilorin, declaring strong support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The large turnout of party stakeholders gathered at the Emir of Ilorin's palace forecourt and marched through key parts of the city, including Oja-Oba Market, Emir's Road, Post Office, Sulu-Gambari, and Ahmadu Bello Way, before converging at the Government House.

Speakers at the event emphasized unity, discipline, and commitment to APC's success in the 2027 general elections. Aspirants across various positions pledged to support party nominees, stressing that their priority is to ensure APC retains power in the state.

Party leaders passed a vote of confidence in both President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq, describing their leadership as stabilizing and development-driven.

A grassroots leader, Alhaji Razaq Lawal, said the party remains fully united behind both leaders and will follow the governor's direction.

Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mukhtar Shagaya, praised Governor AbdulRazaq's governance style and President Tinubu's reform agenda, describing both as central to progress at state and national levels.

Other aspirants, including Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo-Kawu, and Amb. AbdulFatai Yahaya Seriki, also reaffirmed loyalty to the party and called for continued unity ahead of 2027.

The rally ended with renewed commitments to strengthen APC's grassroots structure and consolidate electoral support across Kwara State.
