Kwara United forward Ezeh Chibuzor has expressed disappointment at his team's failure to secure a point in their matchday 15 encounter against Barau FC, where Kwara United suffered a 3-2 defeat to the Maliya Boys at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

Chibuzor, who scored the first goal for Kwara United in the thrilling encounter, told the club's media that the players gave their all but were unfortunate to lose the game.

"It's so disappointing that we couldn't get at least a point in Kano, we gave our all and came close to return back home with a point but at the end, our efforts were not enough," Chibuzor said.

The striker promised to do more for the team, reflecting on his recent goal-scoring form:

"I had waited for moment like this, scoring goals and providing assists and I'm happy it finally came. I keep pushing myself with my game and helping the team offensively and defensively anytime I have the chance to play," added Chibuzor.

The forward will be hoping to add to his goal tally when Kwara United lock horns with Niger Tornadoes in Ilorin this weekend for their next fixture.
