Kwara TESCOM Sets October 30th for 2025 CBT Promotion Examination
The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mall Bello Tauheed Abubakar, has announced Thursday, October 30, 2025, as the date for the conduct of the 2025 Computer-Based Test (CBT) promotion examination for the Commission's staff.
Speaking at a brief meeting with the management yesterday, the Chairman commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the proposal. He noted with pride that TESCOM is the first state parastatal to conduct a Computer-Based Promotion Examination for its staff.
Mall Abubakar justified the adoption of CBT, stating that teachers ought to be properly prepared for the process, especially now that major examination bodies like WAEC and NECO have indicated their intention to conduct exams using CBT. He added that since the Governor is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, this drive and new initiative should rightly start from his state.
Regarding the exercise, he noted that the examination will commence at 9:00 a.m. at the Kwara State College of Education CBT Center. He directed all participants to arrive at the venue 30 minutes before their allocated time and come with the original certificates of all their credentials.
He added that the staff should submit their information to the attached link tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng as the portal opens 12am on 17th October, 2025.
The statement added that any staff who is not captured will not be allowed to write the promotion examination.
He also admonished all participants to note that, immediately after the CBT exercise, interviews will be conducted at the same venue with officers presenting their Enhancement Certificate or Clearance before being interviewed.
