Cross River Gov Otu Hails Kwara's Abdulrazaq on 65th Birthday
The Governor of Cross River State and Vice Chairman of the South-South Governors' Forum, Senator Bassey Otu, has extended birthday greetings to his Kwara State counterpart, Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, on his 65th birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nsa Gill, and shared with PUNCH Online on Wednesday, Governor Otu described the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum as both a personal friend and an ardent supporter of Cross River State and Nigeria.
Governor Otu praised Abdulrazaq's visionary leadership within the NGF, highlighting his steadfast dedication to fostering growth and progress across all regions of Nigeria. He noted that these qualities are particularly commendable on this momentous occasion of his birthday.
He said, “Your physical presence during our annual Africa's biggest street party, Carnival Calabar, in December 2024 added colour to the event and cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
“On behalf of the government and people of Cross River State, I congratulate Your Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, the executive governor of Kwara State and the Chairman of the NGF, on the occasion of your birthday.
“As you celebrate these three scores and five, I pray that the Almighty Allah grants you continued good health, wisdom, and strength to fulfil the vision you set for Kwara State and overall commitment to nation-building. Once again, congratulations Your Excellency.”
