Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is making strides toward fulfilling his pledge to deliver the iconic Unity Bridge. The project has reached its concluding stage with the laying of wearing course asphalt on the bridge.

Subsequent phases, including the construction of a walkway, a roundabout beneath the bridge, and ground-level roadworks, are set to commence soon, according to updates from the state government. The project underscores the governor's commitment to infrastructural development and urban renewal in Kwara State.

The Unity Bridge, which is under construction, is part of Governor AbdulRazaq's rural-urban renewal initiative. The initiative has significantly transformed several roads across the State in the last five years and has also boosted the local economy.

Like the several completed roads and the ones being rehabilitated, upgraded, and constructed, the Unity Bridge is drawing in commendations for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq from well-meaning Kwarans.
