Gov Ahmed Tasks Kwarans on Cleanliness
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has called on the people of the state to maintain clean environment for good health.
He made the remark at the end of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
The governor, who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of Kwara State, Alhaji Sola Isiaka Gold, stressed the. importance of maintaning clean environment while advising against living in a dirty environment.
Alhaji Ahmed also urged the people to desist from dumping refuse in authorised areas.
About 33 people were apprehended and fined by the environmental sanitation mobile courts.
