Date: 2024-09-12

News information from News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) indicates that the Executive Secretary, Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, on Wednesday announced the commencement of online registration for 2025 intending pilgrims.

The board's Press Secretary, Jumoke Jimoh, in a statement in Ilorin, the state capital, said the registration was for those wishing to register through the state.

The Executive Secretary was quoted as saying all intending pilgrims were expected to raise a bank draft of N8.5m after completion of form.

”The bank draft should be submitted at the board's headquarters,” he said.

Jimoh said the Executive Secretary appealed to all Muslim residents and non-residents of Kwara who wished to perform this year's hajj through the board to adhere to the directive.
