Kwara Speaker Reaffirms Commitment to Constituents' Welfare During Baruten Visit
As reported by Leadership, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
He made this statement during a visit to the people of Bwen/Kiyoru and Kpura/Yakira wards in the Baruten Local Government Area of the state.
Addressing stakeholders from various communities in the wards, including youths and women, the Speaker emphasised that his routine visits are a testament to the invaluable nature of the people's thoughts, concerns, and feedback.
Danladi-Salihu noted that these meetings have been instrumental in keeping him informed and focused on addressing the pressing issues affecting his constituents and the broader Kwara community. He pledged to continue enhancing inclusiveness and providing quality representation for the people of the state.
The Speaker also urged the people to maintain their support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration, as a way of appreciating the significant work being done, including the implementation of both federal and state infrastructural projects in Baruten Local Government Area.
He also implored the people of the area to be law abiding and see the issue of security is everybody's business.
The speaker applauded the support of the traditional rulers and political stakeholders in the area, urging them to continue to cooperate with the state government.
Danladi-Salihu appealed to the people of his constituency to come out enmasse to vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September 21, 2024 local government elections in the state.
