KWASU's Ademiluyi sworn-in as ABEN National President
An Associate Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship Education in Kwara State University, Malete, Dr. Lawrence Femi Ademiluyi, has been sworn-in as the National President of the Association of Business Educators of Nigeria (ABEN).
Dr. Ademiluyi who was elected at the 34th Annual National Conference of the Association in Port Harcourt, Rivers State was sworn-in during the National Executive Council Meeting of the Association which held at the Cijeh Hotel in Abuja on Saturday February 4, 2023.
Founded in 1984, ABEN is the umbrella Association for all practitioners of business pedagogy at all levels of education throughout Nigeria.
Before his emergence as National President, Dr. Ademiluyi had served ABEN in several capacities and currently, he is the Managing Editor of Nigerian Journal of Business Education, the Association's journal published annually.
In his acceptance speech at his election, Dr. Ademiluyi assured members of the Association that he would consolidate the efforts of his predecessors to ensure effective professionalism in Business and Entrepreneurship Education in Nigeria.
Before joining the services of Kwara State University, Dr. Ademiluyi had been Head of Department, Dean of Faculty, Director of Entrepreneurship Education, and two-term Deputy Rector in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
In his reaction to Dr. Ademiluyi's emergence as ABEN National President, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh congratulated and urged him to dedicate himself to the task of repositioning the Association.
