The First Lady of Kwara State and Founder Ajike People Support Center Her Excellency Ambassador Dr Olufolake Abdulrazaq has bagged the University of Lagos Alumni Association Awards.

The Alumni Association at an event held at the Lagos Intercontinental Hotel to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the University of Lagos on Saturday 26th of November presented Diamond Jubilee Distinguished Alumni Award to Ambassador Dr Olufolake Abdulrazaq.

The diamond jubilee distinguished alumni award which was presented to her by the first female Vice Chancellor Professor Folashade Ogunsola is in recognition of Ambassador Dr Olufolake Abdulrazaq's contributions to National development and promotion of women and youth development.

While giving her acceptance speech, the first lady of Kwara State recounted her time at the University of Lagos saying that the education she received both within and outside the class room at the University prepared her to contribute to an increasingly advanced and interconnected global society.

She commended the Alumni Association of the University of Lagos for responding to the needs of their alma mater, while she congratulated other distinguished awardees at the event and thanked the association under the leadership of Mr John Momoh OON for putting together the event.
