Name Kwara Stadium after Saraki - Ejidike
Kwara state's Pillar of sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, has urged the state government to immortalise the late Dr Olusola Saraki by naming the Kwara Stadium after him.
He made the appeal on Thursday when he paid a condolence visit to the family of Saraki in Ilorin saying that the contribution of the late political icon to the transformation of Kwara State will not be forgotten.
Ejidike, noted that the sports fraternity would also miss Saraki considering his interest, investment and support for sports promotion and development in Nigeria and beyond.
He described the demise of the Waziri of Ilorin as a great loss to the nation at large adding that youths, women and the poor in the state would always remember Saraki's philanthropic gesture which he noted cuts across all spheres of life.
Ejidike was at the home of Saraki at Ilofa road, Ilorin to sign the condolence register alongside the Team Manager of Nigeria Premier League clubside, ABS Football Club, Mr Alloy Chukwuemeka.
