Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the new Balogun Alanamu Dr. Uthman Atolagbe Abubakar Jos on his appointment.

In a statement on Tuesday night, the Governor described the choice of the new Balogun Alanamu as perfect and suitable at a time the great Ilorin Emirate is breaking new grounds in sociocultural renaissance and economic development.

“Dr. Uthman's appointment underlines the renowned status of the Emirate as a land of knowledge and trailblazing culture. His great pedigree, rich academic attainments, and vast network of friends and associates will all come to bear as he becomes one of the four Baloguns of Ilorin Emirate. I also congratulate His Royal Highness the Emir of Ilorin Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and the people of Ilorin on this development,” the Governor said.

“I pray Allah to grant the new Balogun Alanamu the wisdom, good health and long life to offer his meritorious service to the good people of Ilorin Emirate.”
