Kwara United coach, Abdullahi Biffo, is confident they will build on their match-day one away win against Plateau United when they welcome eight-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enyimba to Ilorin on Sunday.

The Afonja Warriors were up to a flying start in the new season with a 2-0 away win against 2019/20 league champions, Plateau United, but the tie against seasoned campaigners Enyimba will test their nerves.

"We will do all our best to get all the three available points on our pitch because without doing that, our efforts of winning an away game would have been wasted," Biffo told The PUNCH.

"We know the sort of threat that Enyimba will likely pose and we are ready for them and equal to the task, anything but three points will not be accepted."

Enyimba have played more competitive games than any other team in the NPFL, having played three games in the CAF Champions League, but Biffo believes it won't be an advantage over his team.

"I don't think that will be an advantage for them. We defeated Plateau who had also played games in the CAF Champions League, if we could beat them in their own home, then I don't think it will be an advantage for them. The best team will win in 90 minutes. We are not scared of them because they play on the continent," he added.
