Alabi inaugurates 13-man think tank Committee for Kwara South

The Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi has inaugurated a thirteen-man Kwara South Senatorial District Think-Tank/Advisory Committee in his bid to run a fair, just and an inclusive government in the state.
The Committee is headed by Senator Makanjuola Sulaiman Ajadi to be assisted by Engineer Ben Oyeyemi while Dr Fatai Bello will serve as the Secretary.
Other members of the committee are Chief Rex Olawoye, Mr Samuel Olafasobu, Chief Abel Agboola Adewumi, Alhaja Farida Dankaka, Chief Iyiola Oyedepo, Elder Sunday Oladiji, Elder J. B. Ayeni, Barrister Hassan Kehinde Garba, Chief Richard Olaniyi Olusola, and Alhaji Sulyman Olowookere.
The membership of the committee was drawn from Offa, Oyun, Irepodun, Ifelodun, Isin, Ekiti and Oke-Ero local government areas of the state.
Inaugurating the committee in his office, the Deputy Governor explained that the term of reference for the committee was to ensure cohesion and stability of the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Kwara South Senatorial District.
"In my bid for inclusive governance, along with my Executive Governor of Kwara State His Excellency, Andulrahaman AbdulRazaq, I resolved in my wisdom as the Deputy Governor of Kwara State to create a committee which should be regarded as Think-Tank/ Advisory in nature for our collective success" he said.
He said the committee was to provide blueprint/proposal to the Deputy Governor in order to fast track socio-economic development of the entire Kwara State Senatorial District.
Mr Alabi added that it expected to give all round advice to Deputy Governor on all matter of importance, and matter that would have positive impact on lives and aspiration of the entire Kwara South Senatorial District.
The Deputy Governor advised the Committee to work assiduously among the people of the District in order to know their problems and at ensuring the Youth and the less privileged are focus for possible government patronage.
He noted that the present administration would leave no stone unturned in its desire and determination to develop the State.
Responding on behalf of members of the Committee, the Chairman, Senator Suleiman Makanjuola Ajadi thanked the Deputy Governor for the honour to serve pledging not to disappoint in the task of developing the District and the State in general.
Senator Ajadi explained that members of the Committee were picked based on merit and charged them to work for the success of the present administration.
