Al-Hikmah lecturer orders 300L Law students to go on knees

Date: 2017-12-07

The lecturer simply identified as Barr. Onikosi at the Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on Monday morning ordered 300-level law students of the school out of his class to kneel down by the hallway.

According to sources in the school, the lecturer, who ran his Masters programme in Malaysia has cultivated the habit of making reference to the Asian country whenever he is lecturing his students. Every example he cites is always from Malaysia.

During lecture on Monday, Onikosi reportedly asked the students a question and because none of them knew the answer, he in turn called them local. One of the students sitting at the back was said to have whispered, 'but we are not from Malaysia'.

The response was said to have angered the lecturer who then asked for the student that made the remark to identify himself.

When none of them owned up, he ordered them out of his class and asked them to kneel down. He has since been trolled online after the pictures hit the internet.
