The Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim on Friday 20th October, 2017 met with the Omuaran Development Association on way to further collaborate to bring more development to Omuaran and other communities in his constituency.

While addressing the community Association, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim noted that the meeting became imperative to strengthen the relationship between the political elites and community development associations to ensure more dividends of democracy for the people.

Senator Rafiu Ibrahim reassured the people of Omuaran, the entire constituents of Kwara South and Kwara in general that with the smooth collaboration and purposeful leadership of the Nigerian Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, more dividends are on the way. Citing shortage of fund as the major obstacle of projects execution by the Executive. He reaffirmed his commitment towards ensuring even distribution of community development projects across his constituency.

Earlier, Chief Bisi Adeyemi, the President, Omuaran Development Association, applauded Senator Rafiu Ibrahim and other representatives in government on their strides to better the lots of their people. Chief Bisi Adeyemi charged the senator and others in government and private sector on community development programmes.

The ODA President, Chief Bisi Adeyemi, appreciated Senator Rafiu Ibrahim for the newly provided and installed transformers in Omuaran and other communities in the Kwara South Senatorial District.

The President commended the initiative of Senator Rafiu on the just concluded CBN-EDC /#RIBFoundation Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Training for more than two hundred participants across Kwara South held in Omuaran. He affirmed that such programmes if taken seriously by the participants will definitely create more jobs and reduce unemployment in the land.

Senator Rafiu Ibrahim thanked Olomu of Omuaran, the elder statemen in the association, and the entire people of Irepodun local government area for their understanding, support and prayers at all times.
