Date: 2017-06-07

The Chairman of the Council of Heads of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in Nigeria, Alhaji Masu'd Elelu, on Tuesday said Atlanta '96 Olympic Games bronze medallist Mary Onyali, former Aston Villa forward John Fashanu, Kwasi Audu and Jide Fashikun would market the 2018 Nigeria Polytechnic Games.

He said the Games would be hosted by the Kwara State Polytechnic in Ilorin.

Elelu, who is also the rector of Kwara poly, called for support from stakeholders towards a successful competition.

Elelu said, "The polytechnic has set up a very powerful committee for preparations and hosting of the Games. Marketing consultants are Jide Fashikun, Mary Onyali, John Fashanu and Ambassador Adamu. They are going to be involved in selling our hosting to the world. We have moved fast on preparations for the hosting."
