The Management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, the Nigeria Premier league Club Owners, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), have congratulated the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki,on his 54th birthday.

The Secretary of the Club Owners and ABS FC director of football, Alloy Chukwuemeka,in a statement on Monday in Ilorin, described Dr. Saraki's achievements in sports as unprecedented.

The statement reminded that Dr. Saraki has single handedly floated ABS FC for more than a decade, established the Kwara Football Academy, turned the Kwara Stadium Complex to an international standard that has since hosted international matches.

He also described the former Kwara State governor as an epitome of service with a biased mind for youth development.

The Secretary of the Club Owners prayed God grant Dr.Saraki who is a patron of the Club Owners Association long life to further pilot the political ship of the most populous black nation to a standard other African countries would like to follow.

Meanwhile, the National President of SWAN, Mr. Honour Sirawoo, who joined other well wishers at a special prayer for the Senate President in Ilorin on Monday, has on behalf of the body congratulated Dr. Saraki.

Sirawoo, said Dr. Saraki's achievements as the governor of Kwara State was the reason SWAN conferred on him the National Patron of the association.

He reminded that the Senate President's presence in uyo for the Nigeria and Algeria match and his intervention at various level of crisis in Nigerian sports shows his love and support for the country's sports sector.
