Atunwa Condoles Toyin Sanusi Over Wife's Death
In a statement signed by his media aide, Atunwa expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing away of Mrs Sanusi.
Atunwa described Mrs Sanusi as a meek and good spirited woman, who dedicated her life to the advancement of Kwara. Her contributions are apparent in the successful political career of her husband, Alhaji Toyin Sanusi.
He said: "This is no doubt a tough period for the immediate family of Alhaji Toyin Sanusi and Kwara All Progressive Congress. I sympathize with my friend and dear brother, Alhaji Toyin Sanusi, may Almighty Allah grant us all the grace and special strength to bear this great loss.
"May Almighty Allah grant Mrs Sanusi Aljanat Firdauz. Amin"
