Unilorin Commences Post-UTME

As the University of Ilorin commences it's 2012/2013 Post UTME examination today, candidates who converged from various places have expressed their gladness and problems they encounter during their registrations.

During an interview with Suleiman Ajala, he expressed that he encountered little problems during his online registration but with patience he was able to scale through .

Amuda Mutiu stated that his dream is to become a student of the institution stating that with prayers one can always be assured of success.

The director of the Centre for Research, Development and In-house Training CREDIT professor Temidayo Oladiji who was also at the examination centre stated that the school management had provided excess computers to make the examination convenient for the prospective students .

Professor Oladiji said about 2000 computer sets have been provided at the examination centre which is more than the expected number of students per batch.

She also expressed that everything went as planned stating that with the help of the security officials there was no problem with the candidates.

In a chat with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor elect, Professor Bayo Lawal, he said so far there has been no case of misconduct as the candidates were well organised and coordinated.

Professor Lawal said with the way things have gone in the first day it’s a signal that subsequent days will be better and less stressful.

The examination centre was well coordinated and organised as there was no report of misconduct from the candidates and also security officials were on ground to ensure that there was no security challenge.
