Enyimba Beat Kwara United, Close In On Seventh League Title
Enyimba closed in on a record seventh Glo Premier League title following a 1-0 home win against Kwara United on Wednesday at the Enyimba Sports Stadium.
Skipper of the side Chinedu Udoji scored the only goal of the encounter in the 22nd minute off a corner kick by Ezekiel Bassey.
The Peoples Elephant have extended their lead over second placed Warri Wolves to six points. The Seasiders will take on Lobi Stars in Makurdi on Thursday.

The visitors regained the lead in the 38 th minute through Harrison Madu, while Amos Gyang equalized for Giwa three minutes before half time.
Gyang got his second of the day in added time to boost his side's chances of securing a continental ticket.
At the Sani Abacha Stadium, defending champions Kano Pillars came from a goal down to beat 10-man Rangers 2-1.
Azeez Shobowale's brace for the Sai Masu Gida rendered Bobby Clement's goal for the visitors useless at the end of proceedings.
Port Harcourt sides, Dolphins and Sharks, boosted their survival hopes as both enjoyed wins against El-Kanemi Warriors and Shooting Stars respectively.
