The minister of national planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman, has urged supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State and the entire people of the state to rally round the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Simon Ajibola as well as President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.

The minister’s appeal came just as the youths from Ekiti local government area of Kwara State where Ajibola hails from advanced reasons why they would not go along with the PDP gubernatorial candidate in next year’s general elections.

The youths alleged at a town hall meeting with the state governor, Alh. Abdulfatah Ahmed, that despite the fact that the PDP candidate is from the area he has been far away from them.

Speaking on behalf of the youths, a former speaker of the local government legislative council, Hon. Isiaka Iyanda recalled how on several occasions Senator Ajibola had not been forthcoming on requests tabled before him by the Ekiti people.
