Group warns APC leaders against divisive agents
The Kwara APC Youth Unity Group (AYUG) have called on stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress to ensure the moves to cause disaffection among party leaders in the state is not allowed to materialise.
The State Coordinator of the group, Alhaji Tunde Aluko, made the call in a press statement made available to our reporter. Aluko said the youth group has watched the activities of a faceless group purportedly claiming membership of the party which embarked on actions that were calculated to cause disaffection among members of the party.
He said the group would not have joined issues with the faceless group self-styled 'Concerned APC Members in Kwara State' but for the disparaging remarks made against the governor, Alhaji Abdul Fattah Ahmed.
The group which took exception to the unwarranted attack on his person, described itself as a non-governmental organisation with a mission to see to the continuation of good governance and the rekindling of hope for better days ahead for Kwarans.
Aluko said the group that recently placed an advert in a national newspaper was faceless and that its submissions were fraught with obvious falsehood and concocted stories.
Aluko while assessing the administration of Alhaji Abdul Fattah Ahmed said he has religiously kept to his pact with Kwarans and made the government of continuity one that has ensured continued delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.
