The National President,Ilorin Emirate Descendant and Progressive Union(IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulhamid Hadi has described the newly commissioned Ilorin General Hospital as “modern of all hospitals in Kwara State and indeed the country at large”.

Alhaji Hadi who made the assertion yesterday during the commissioning of the hospital by the former Head of State, Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar expressed gratitude to the present administration in the state for what he described as an “unequal kind gesture”.

The IEDPU president further maintained that with the commissioning of the project, the people of the emirate would now have direct access to comprehensive and qualitative health care service.

Alhaji Hadi who praised the present administration in the state for its developmental projects, promised that the people of the emirate would take full ownership and make best use of the facility provided.

He maintained that the people of the emirate would forever remain grateful to the present administration for restoring the lost glory by bringing back the Ilorin General Hospital.
Alhaji Hadi also expressed gratitude to the former Head of State for finding time out of his tight schedule to commission the edifice.
