The lIorin Emirate Magajis and Alangua Forum as well as traditional title holders in Kwara State have assured the newly posted Commissioner of Police to the state, Mr Ambrose Airabo of their maximum support and cooperation in the discharge of his official assignments. 

This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Alhaji AbdulWahab Sanni who is the Alajagusi 2 of Ajagusi and the Vice Chairman, Magaji Nda of lIorin, Alhaji Saliu Woru Mohammed.

Members of the forum formally welcomed the new police commissioner to the state and charged him to ensure the sustenance of the existing peace and harmony in the state.

They also advised the new police boss not to engage himself in partisan politics but exhibit his professionalism by being fair in dealing with all matters, manners of people and groups.

They enjoined him to emulate his predecessor, Mr Oshodi Glover who they described as a genuine and peace loving police chief.

The traditional chiefs called on all law abiding people in the state to cooperate with the police and other law enforcement agents in sustaining peace and security in the state.
