Abdulraheem Moves to Reconcile with Saraki

Date: 2013-10-26

Fresh fact on Friday emerged on the peace move made by the former chairman of the Federal Character Commission(FCC) and PDP chieftain in Kwara state, Professor Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem to mend fences with his estranged political leader in the state, Dr.Bukola Saraki.

Abdulraheem, former vice chancellor of University of Ilorin, fell out with Saraki over his purported plan to seek second term bid against the zoning formula of the state as the chairman of the Federal Character Commission, Abuja. The development according to THISDAY checks prompted Abdulraheem to form a parallel group within the PDP to challenge the leadership of the PDP in the state led by Senator Saraki.
