An Ilorin Area Court  in Kwara State has  dissolved the four-year-old  union  between one Muritala Akeem and  Kudirat Muritala, over the wife's troublesome nature.

Muritala, 49, a resident of Ganmo Area, Ilorin, had earlier prayed the court to dissolve his marriage to Kudirat over  same reason.

The petitioner told the court that his wife had fought with their neighbours and friends.

"My wife's troublesome nature has  discouraged relatives and friends  from  visiting us," he said.

Muritala said that the marriage was contracted in 2009 and had produced one female child.

"My lord, I want an end to this marriage because I'm tired of my wife's madness," he said.

The respondent did not object to the prayer of her husband, saying she too was tired of his complaints.

"My husband  tolerates nonsense from our neighbours. I can no longer  put up  with such an attitude," Kudirat said.

She prayed the court to grant the prayer of her husband without any claim.

The judge, Mr Ibrahim Abdulquadri, dissolved the marriage and issued a certificate of divorce to the plaintiff.
