Sanusi Relieved by Kwara Win

Date: 2013-04-26

Goal scorer Kabiru Sanusi in Kwara 2-0 win over Nembe City on Wednesday has said he is relieved with the comfortable home win.

Kabiru fired his first goal of the season when he netted in the 50th minute.

"I am so happy that I have scored my first goal of the season," the consistent striker said

"The victory is an excellent one for us because this is the first time we are winning a game by a two-goal margin this season. So for us, the victory is a big relief."

It was Kwara's third win of the season and they have now jumped from 10th place to sixth spot on the league standings with 12 points from eight matches.

'The Afonja Warriors' will now take on Warri Wolves at the weekend in continuation of the Nigeria league.
