Saraki Provides Free Medical Services to Hundreds of Kwara Supporters During Eid-el-Adha

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has provided free medical services to hundreds of his supporters in Kwara State.

In a statement issued by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, the outreach was described as part of Dr Saraki's Eid-el-Adha, also known as Ileya, festival gift to the people of the state.

The statement stated that the exercise brought together supporters, associates, as well as community and religious leaders from across Kwara State for a festive gathering that combined celebration with community service.

According to the statement, beneficiaries received free medical services including blood pressure checks, eye tests and free drugs for minor ailments.

It added that the gesture was well received, with many attendees taking advantage of the medical services provided.

The statement also stated that food items, other materials and cash gifts were distributed, especially to women who attended in large numbers, dressed in colourful Ileya outfits.

It noted that the event was marked by a lively and friendly atmosphere, as guests interacted freely with their host and with one another.

The statement stated that Dr Saraki has continued to use festive periods to reconnect with the people, express appreciation and strengthen community ties across Kwara State.
