Governor AbdulRazaq Approves N20,000 and N200,000 Bursaries for Final-Year Students and Law School Indigenes
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved new financial support packages for final-year undergraduate students and Nigerian Law School students of Kwara origin.
The announcement was made by the Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs to the Governor, Comrade Wasiu Onidugbe, on his official Facebook page.
Under the scheme, final-year Kwara indigenes in tertiary institutions across Nigeria will receive a bursary of N20,000 each, while students from the state attending any of the seven Nigerian Law School campuses will be awarded a scholarship of N200,000 each.
The intervention is part of the state government's ongoing commitment to supporting the education and welfare of Kwara students, particularly at critical stages of their academic journey.
This development marks the second consecutive 100% increment approved by the Governor. The undergraduate bursary rose from N5,000 to N20,000, while the Law School scholarship increased from N50,000 to N200,000.
Governor AbdulRazaq, through these interventions, has been described as prioritizing students' welfare, easing their financial burdens, and making critical investments in their future.
