NOA Director General Links National Security to Integrated Marketing Communication
According to News report from the NOA website, The Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has emphasised the connection between national security and integrated marketing communication. Speaking on Wednesday, Issa-Onilu outlined NOA's efforts to build capacities and ensure an orderly Nigerian society.
This was highlighted during the second annual faculty public lecture at Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, where he delivered a groundbreaking address titled "Enhancing National Security through Integrated Marketing Communication." The event brought together students, faculty, traditional and religious leaders, security professionals, and communication experts.
In his insightful lecture, Issa-Onilu explained how strategic use of communication tools and channels, including new media, can foster greater public awareness, cooperation, and vigilance, which are crucial in tackling contemporary security challenges.

-Collaborative Efforts between government agencies, the private sector, academia, and civil society organizations to develop and implement effective communication strategies that support national security objectives.
The Vice-Chancellor of Alhikmah University, Professor Noah Yusuf, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu for his enlightening presentation and emphasized the university's dedication to promoting dialogues that address critical national issues.
The Founder, Al-Hikmah University, Alh. Dr AbdulRaheem Oladimeji OFR also noted that the insights shared by the NOA DG would significantly contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance security measures within the country.
Other highlights of the event were the presentation of Faculty Student's Magazine, presentation of awards to distinguished personalities.
Before the lecture, the DG was guided through a facility tour of the campuses of the University, reputed to be the first private Islamic faith based institution of Higher learning. The Atere campus features state of the art facilities including a theatre, E-library, medical facilities, laboratories, lecture rooms, hostels and the centre for peace and security studies.
At the Adeta campus are the lecture and main auditorium.
