Kwara United Sign N60m Sponsorship Deal
Kwara United got a major boost ahead of next season following the signing of an MOU with Yammzy Farm worth N60m.
The Nigeria Premier League club sealed the deal on Thusrday after a friendly match with a local academy in honour of the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye II who owns the farm. The Ilorin club won the match 1-0 in continuation of their impressive pre-season campaign.
Celebrate
Club spokesman Olayioye Ajide told futaa.com that the match is to mark and celebrate Ijakadifestival held at the ancient town of Offa, Kwara State.
The game played at the Offa Township Stadium saw Lukman Ijaiya's 55th minute goal separating the two sides. Kwara United FC better Oris Football Academy by a lone goal scored by Lukman Ijaiya in the 55th minute of the encounter.
Investment
The Royal Father showered blessings on the team and urged the players and coaches to justify the huge investment on the club.
He stated that his partnership with the Afonja Warriors is hinged on the fact that the government cannot take total responsibility of running the club and therefore called for supports from inpiduals and corporate organisations
