37th Ramat Cup: SWAN felicitates with victorious Kwara Team

The Kwara State Chapter of the Sports writers Association of Nigeria SWAN has joined other Stakeholders in rejoicing with the the state's YUSFON U-15 team for winning the 37th edition of Ramat International football Competition in Kano State.

This was contained in a Statement Signed by the Secretary of the Association, Olayinka Owolewa in Ilorin on Sunday.

The statement commended the doggedness and resilience of the players and technical officials for emerging Champions of the famous tournament.

Owolewa in the statement noted that the victory has further confirmed the state as one with fully adherence to football developmental programme from the grassroots.

He Saluted the technical department of the team for bring their wealth of experience to bear and for justifying the confidence reposed in them

The Statement Implored the State Government to host and reward the Players as well as officials to motivate them to serve as impetus for future Championship.

It would be recalled that Kwara defeated Bauchi by a lone goal on Friday to win the 37th edition of Ramat Cup.
