The attention of Sobi Specialist Hospital management has been drawn to an erroneous report about the hospital going viral on social medial. We wish to state that the information is entirely false and misleading. To put the record straìght

1. Sobi Specialist Hospital is manned by well trained and responsible personnel who practice with high ethical standard.

2-The hospital is one of the most easily accessible to the common man by virtue of the registration fees of two hundred and fifty naira N250. This gives every patient access to general and specialist consultation. Even at that indigent patients and emergency cases are seen and given free access to treatment before they obtain cards. The claim of paying N3000 to obtain card in the hospital is a blatant lie.

3-There has never been a time Tax clearance is made a pre-condition to access healthcare in our hospital. No Ministry or Government agency gave a standing order for such.

4- The hospital has 80KVA generator providing alternative power supply at all times of need. There are no dilapitated buildings in our hospital, rather we have solid structures that anybody who has ever been to the hospital can easily notice and attest to. There is no CCTV camera anywhere in our hospital. That leaves us in doubt whether the writer was actually reporting his experience at Sobi Specialist Hospital or hallucinating. The entire content of the story is a figment of the author's imagination.
