CCT Victory: Oyun LG Organises Prayers for Bukola Saraki

The people of Oyun local government in a joint prayer session thanked God Almighty for the victory of the Senate President at the CCT on no case submission over his politically motivated trials.

The Chairman League of Imam in Oyun LG and the Chief Imam of Ira, leading other Islamic clerics in the prayer session, called for special prayers for the Saraki, the father, late Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki and the entire Saraki family.

The Chief Imam of Ira prayed to Almighty Allah to continue his protection on Dr. Abubakar Bukoka Saraki and asked for divine wisdom in the discharge of his purposeful leadership in his office as the Senate President to strengthen the unity of the country.

His Christian counterpart, the Oyun CAN President, led other Christian faithful in prayers for the life of the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Oyun LG, Kwara State and Nigeria in general. The Christian cleric charged all political office holders to emulate Bukola Saraki in touching lives.

The spiritual leaders prayed for the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed for divine guidance in discharging his duty to Kwara and Kwarans.

There was special prayers for the Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim for his support towards the successful organization of the prayer session. They applauded his responsiveness to issues at the grassroots.

They equally called for divine healing for the Nigerian President, Muhammedu Buhari, and God's guidance for the acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. Earlier in his remark, the Kwara South APC Senatorial Chairman, Alhaji Jimoh Balogun, enjoined all believers in the state to continue their prayers for the Leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for more elevation beyond his current position.

Alhaji Tijani Olaegbe, the Oyun APC Party Chairman, in his opening remark, called on the spiritual leaders to appreciate God Almighty on the victory of the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki at the CCT and asked for God's protection for him always in the hands of his political enemies.

Oyun LG TIC Chairman, Hon. Gabriel Odogun, in his remark, gave all the glory to God Almighty and appreciated the supports and prayers for Dr. Abubajar Bukoka Saraki's victory at the tribunal.

Present at the prayer session were all the Chief Imams across Oyun local government led by the Chairman Oyun league of Imam and the Chief Imam of Ira. Also present were Rev. J. O. Bakinde, Rev. Dr. Noah Opadare, Rev. Fasipe, Dcn. Morodoye, from the Oyun Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Also in attendance were Alhaji Jimoh Balogun, Alhaji Tijani Olaegbe and other APC party exco from Oyun LG, Senator Bisi Oyewo, Hon. Sikirat Anako, Hon. Fagbemi Tofo, Hon. Gabriel Odogun, Hon. Taiye Afolabi, Hon. Sarafadeen, Hon. Jalala, Hon. Gani Dele, All APC Ward Chairmen in Oyun LG, DPM and Directors in Oyun LG, all party faithful.
