Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed applauds role of traditional rulers in peace and development of the state as he presents keys to newly purchased vehicles to first class traditional rulers in the state. Speaking during the presentation today in Ilorin, Governor Ahmed said the vehicles were to aid traditional rulers in maintaining peace in their domain through surveillance while contributing to economic development by supporting the state's agricultural development efforts.

Responding, Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs and Emir of Ilorin, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari thanked Governor Ahmed for the gesture, noting that it's the first time in eight years that traditional rulers in the state will be receiving such vehicles from the state government.
