Eid-el-Kabir: Ali Ahmad calls for prayers to end economic crises
Ahmad, in a Eid-el-Kabir message issued by ?his Special Assistant on Media, Shuaib Abdulkadir said Nigeria is not the first and only country to witness such challenges which according to him require all hands to be on deck to overcome.
Restating ?his belief in the present administration's efforts to work out modalities to salvage the economy, Dr Ahmad admonished Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic, religious or political affiliation to support the cause.
?While congratulating Muslims ?on the Sallah celebration, the Speaker enjoined them to use the occasion to pray fervently for the nation.
He said, "At this critical period in the nation's history, there is no denying the fact that all is not well with us as a country. Certainly, the situation is very worrisome ?and challenging but we can in no time find lasting solution to the problem if we all decide to work collectively.?"
"What the country is currently witnessing should be used as an opportunity to strive and think outside the box and rebound to greatness."
