Omu-Aran festival 2015 holds Nov 14

The annual Omu-Aran festival 2015 tagged Odun Omu-Aran will hold on Saturday November 14, at Government Secondary School, Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State by 10am prompt.

A release signed by the Chairman, Planning Committee, Omu-Aran Development Association (ODA), Mr. Kayode Awotunde said that the festival would not only foster unity and love among the people but bring progress to the town.

According to him, the festival will bring all the sons, daughters and even non-indigenes together to discuss the progress of the town.

The royal father of the day is Oba Charles Oladele Ibitoye, Olomu of Omu-Aran while Dr. Chief H. B. Oyedepo and Yeye Aro, Chief (Mrs) Foluke Oyinloye are expected to be the chairman and lady chairperson of the occasion.

The Chairman, Irepodun LGA, Alhaji Luqman Owolewa is expected to be special guest of honour, while chancellor, Covenant and Landmark Universities, Bishop David Oyedepo will be father of the day.
