Buhari breaks fast with govs, northern monarchs
President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday broke fast with state governors at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The governors in attendance include those of Imo, Anambra, Edo, Kebbi, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Borno, Kano, Sokoto, Borno, Akwa Ibom, Osun, Oyo, Kwara, Kogi, Katsina and Kebbi States.
Members of the Northern Traditional Rulers Council, who were earlier led to a meeting with Buhari by the Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, also joined the breakfast.
The vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, was also present.
President Buhari had earlier attended Ramadan tafsir (Qur'anic exigesis) held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa mosque.
