NYSC probes corps member's death
Following the death of a corps member serving in Kwara State penultimate Sunday, the national directorate of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has set up a committee to investigate the circumstances behind the death.
The corps member, Miss Yetunde Shukurah Idowu, was found dead in GRA Ilorin, a day after she was declared missing. The police could not ascertain the course of the death.
Daily Trust learnt yesterday that the committee set up by the NYSC Director-General, Brig-General Olawunmi Johnson, is expected to arrive Ilorin today and meet with relevant authorities on the death.
