Communities Applaud Governor Ahmed On Rural Electrification.
Concerned residents in the communities made this known today during a courtesy call to Dr. Yoonus Lawal, Director Finance, Atunwa1 Campaign Team.
In response, Dr. Yoonus, one of the major political stockholders in the state, came to their rescue by facilitating the project through the state Governor, Alh Abdulfatah Ahmed.
Representatives of the communities lead by Mallam Isiaka Jeje Eyenkorin and Mallam Garba Sidiq, expressed appreciation to Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki and Dr. Yoonus Lawal for timely intervention and lauded the uncommon achievements and giant strides of Governor Ahmed in the Rural Electrification Project.
Succor came the way of the communities with the efforts of the Governor, new 500kVA transformers were installed in the communities and power supply has since remained constant.
Mallam Isiaka and Garba, residents who reported the incident expressed appreciation to Gov Ahmed and Sen. Saraki through Dr Yoonus, for the intervention that has restored the economic life of community. And also pledged continuous support for APC lead government in Kwara State.
Meanwhile Dr. Yoonus assured the communities of more developmental projects by the government and urged them to sensitize the people of their various communities to get their PVCs and vote massively for APC in the forthcoming general elections. Speaking with the news men, He said " I have also expressed appreciation to the Governor, Alh. Abdulfatah Ahmed and My Leader Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki for timely intervention to restore power supply to Apata/Araromi/Eyenkorin communities and the surrounding villages.
