NPFL: Kwara Coach Praise Port Harcourt Fans

Date: 2013-03-25

Coach Samson Unuanel of Kwara United has heaped praises on fans of Port Harcourt based Sharks FC for their composure despite suffering a shock home loss in the hands of the Afonja Warriors in Sunday’s Nigeria Professionla Football League clash .

Najeem Olukokun’s solitary strike was all that was needed for Kwara United to secure their first win of the season after their two earlier games ended in stalemate.

Fantastic fans

- Fans of Sharks were fantastic. No one molested us after we won in Port Harcourt. Coach Unuanel stated

He added that teams must be allowed to win away from home so as to better the lot of the League.

The away victory in Port Harcourt was the only away win in Week Three matches with the game between Enugu Rangers and Warri Wolves yet to be decided.

Each Week of the Nigeria Professional League thus far has recorded at least an away win, a situion many have commended.
