Kwara Government Promotes Over 2,000 Civil Servants Following 2024 Exercise
The Kwara State Government has issued promotion letters to more than 2,000 civil servants following the successful conclusion of the 2024 promotion exercise.
The Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Habibat Yusuf, confirmed the development in a statement issued by her Press Secretary, Bimbola Oniye Oganija, while commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the promotions.
She disclosed that over 2,000 officers sat for the 2024 promotion examinations and interviews, achieving an impressive pass rate of 98.87 per cent.
Hajia Yusuf added that the beneficiaries have already commenced the collection of their promotion letters and will immediately begin to enjoy the financial benefits attached to their new ranks.
She praised the government for prioritising the welfare of workers, noting that the timely provision of funding and logistical support to Ministries, Departments, and Agencies has significantly boosted productivity across the civil service.
The Commission Chairman urged the promoted officers and civil servants in general to remain proactive, dedicated, and loyal in the discharge of their duties to the state.
