KWASSIP Partners SUREMech to Boost Youth Skills and Economic Inclusion in Kwara
In line with its mission to drive economic inclusion through collaborative partnerships, the Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) a state government agency has finalised plans to partner with SUREMech, a leading automobile repair and maintenance platform.
The initiative aligns with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's vision of empowering youths through skill acquisition and job creation, reinforcing the state's reputation for youth-centric policies.
Abdulwasiu Tejidini, General Manager of KWASSIP, expressed excitement during a courtesy visit by SUREMech representatives to his office, stating: "This partnership holds immense potential to equip our youths with technical skills, uplift livelihoods, and contribute to Kwara's economic transformation. We are fully committed to structured collaboration and open to meaningful dialogue."
The collaboration aims to provide hands-on training in automotive repair, enhancing employability and entrepreneurship among young people in Kwara.
Earlier, Samuel Akhibi, the Founder of SUREMech, proposed a collaborative effort with KWASSIP to sponsor selected youths for training at SUREMech Academy, explaining that the initiative aims to empower young Nigerians with skills in automobile repair and maintenance, enhancing their employability and economic prospects.
Akhibi further expressed commitment to support youth development and empowering the next generation of automobile professionals.
A statement by Abdulganiyu Bukola, the Press Secretary, KWASSIP quoted him saying, "we believe that this partnership will not only benefit the youths but also contribute to the growth and development of Kwara State."
The proposed partnership aligns with KWASSIP's mission to support vulnerable populations and promote economic inclusion in Kwara State, creating opportunities for youth development and contributing to the state's economic growth.
