Physical devt excites Kwara varsity management, community
THE Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has commended the State Government for the spate of work at the Osi and Ilesha-Baruba campuses of the institution.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of KWASU, Prof. Shaykh Luqman Jimoh, said this in a statement issued after a visit to the sites of both campuses by a combined team of Management and Government officials.
Jimoh described the development as “impressive rate of construction work”.
He lauded the Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration for the commitment to deliver its promise on the two sites.
He described the completion of the two campuses of the university as capable of broadening access to world class tertiary education and a strategic way to bring development to the two senatorial zones.
Jimoh noted that when the campuses become operational, the communities around the campuses would benefit significantly, especially as KWASU has a track record of impacting positively on communities around it.
He said that the AbdulRazaq administration was committed to promoting the quality of education in the state as evidenced in the various intervention programmes extended to KWASU.
