Date: 2021-09-10

The University of Ilorin Alumni Association has congratulated Professor Is'haq Oloyede on his reappointment as the registrar of Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), saying his reappointment was "well-deserved and in order."

A statement by the publicity secretary of the association, Bolanle Olatunde, quoted the national president of the association, Dr Stephen Olawale Fasakin,as saying that: "Professor Oloyede has done exceedingly well" to merit his reappointment as the registrar of JAMB.

According to the statement, "Oloyede's reappointment is an attestation to the fact that the former vice chancellor has done excellently well during his first tenure."

Dr Fasakin said: "There is no doubt that since his appointment as the registrar of JAMB five years ago, Professor Oloyede has remained one of the most visible star boys of President Buhari's administration's war against corruption.

"He has effectively sanitised JAMB's operations in five years that one would think the board has never been in any tangible operation in its years of existence.

"The entire members of the University of Ilorin Alumni Association are indeed very proud of our distinguished alumnus, the very first of such to become the Vice Chancellor of our great alma mater; and who has gone on to score several high marks in his service to the nation.
