Kwara Gov Abdulrazaq Mourns Death of Renowned Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin
Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has expressed his sorrow over the passing of the 12th Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin, Alhaji Isiaka Yusuf Okunrinjeje.
In a statement, Governor Abdulrazaq described the late Balogun as an exceptional statesman who consistently championed the rich culture, traditions, and values of the Ilorin Emirate both locally and beyond.
The governor extended his condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate Council, and the bereaved family of the late Balogun Ajikobi. He prayed to Allah to lighten the burden of the departed soul, grant him admission into Jannah al-Firdaus, and bestow strength and solace upon his family during this difficult time.
