Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, prof. Ishaq O. Oloyede, recently presented a motorised tricycle to a physically challenged 100 level computer science student of the university, Mr. Ogunremi Rahaman Bolaji.

During the presentation, the VC thanked the centre for supportive services for conceiving the idea and seeing to its fruition. He disclosed that the university would sek to help any physically challenged student, adding that those whose condition could still be rescued would be made to receive medical attention, while those beyong human remedy would be given palliative help.

The director of centre for supportive services Prof. Alfred Adegoke, thanked the VC for supporting the idea and making the dream of Bolaji a reality. He said the centre would continue to work to support physically challenged students.

Bolaji thanked the university for the gesture and the VC whom he described as a father. He added that the tricycle has made his life a lot easier and that words could not express how grateful he was.
