FEDPOFFA Rector Bags Meritorious Award In Singapore, Receives Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) Certificate

Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE has bagged a meritorious award at the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS).

Dr. Kadiri was awarded for his outstanding, resourceful, and scholarly performance during the Vocational and Management Development & Consultancy training held in Singapore from the 21st of May to the 27th of May 2023.

A week-long training workshop which featured Vice-chancellors, Rectors, Provosts, participants from the Ministry of Education, and other stakeholders from different Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria opened floor for dialogue on the future of education including the growth and development of tertiary education in the country.

The training workshop also opened a panel discussion between Academicians, Policymakers, Administrators, and Chief Executives on what education stakeholders need to know and learn in evolving world to channel an advanced route on curriculum review, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving methods of teaching, learning, and research in their respective institutions.

While the certificate of completion was presented to participants, the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa was awarded as the most outstanding participant with a certificate of merit for his intellectual prowess, solution-driven discussion, and scholarly presentation during the panel discussion.

The Rector in his reaction reiterated his concerted effort to place the Polytechnic to a global standard. He noted his commitment to networking and channeling both national and international collaborations to the Polytechnic through grants and notable endowments.

The Rector further pledged his selfless service, dedication, and commitment towards the growth and development of the Federal Polytechnic Offa in all ramifications.

The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) was founded in 1956 and is one of Singapore’s oldest not-for-profit professional institutes for lifelong learning. MDIS has two main subsidiaries: Management Development Institute of Singapore Pte Ltd which oversees its Singapore academic operations, and MDIS International Pte Ltd which focuses on MDIS’ globalisation strategy.
