Ilorin to Host F/Eagles's Return Leg against S/Africa, Oct. 7th
Nigeria's Flying Eagles drew 1-1 against the Amajita of South Africa in the first leg of the final round qualifying match in Nelspruit on Friday.
The Amajita, scored first in the first half before the West Africans fought back gamely to even scores through Abduljelil Ajagun in the second half.
The Flying Eagles will now host the return leg at the Ilorin Township Stadium in Kwara State on October 7th.
The Flying Eagles are now at least on paper favourites to retain the AYC title in 2011 as well as make the cut for the next Fifa U-20 World Cup.
The last time the Nigerians were there in Colombia they reached the quarters losing to France 3-1.
